Greetings all:

As a child in the 1950's, I would listen to my grandmother and father discuss the ransom,  Christ's Kingdom,  time of trouble, etc.   They were bible students.   I attended a few of their meetings as  a young person.   I remember several meetings lead by A. Muir.   I also remember meeting a brother who had an excellent singing voice.   I believe his name was Read.

But with my father's death and the passage of the years,  I lost all contact with bible students.    I really know no one in the movement now, and am homebound as the result of being caretaker to my elderly mother (who was never interested in spiritual things).

I hope by speaking to folks on this forum ,  I can get a dose of the holy spirit because I need it badly.       It can get lonely when you have no spiritual soul mates among friends or family.

with Love,

Hi Linda, From another Floridian(Miami) glad you found this place. Been noticing your presence on line for several days and was wondering when you were going to make your first post. We live in turbulent times. Welcome.
