Many refer to Jeremiah 32:18, where EL GIBBOR is used of Yahweh, and then claim that since EL GIBBOR is used of Jesus in Isaiah 9:6, that this proves that Jesus is Yahweh.

As I have pointed out in a former post, so the same expression is used, in plural form, of the rulers of Babylon in Ezekiel 32:21.

Additionally, the context of Isaiah 9:6 seems to apply the meaning EL GIBBOR to the God and Father of Jesus, as expressed in the rendering of the name Pelejoezelgibborabiaadarshalom as ""Wonderful in counsel is God the Mighty, the everlasting Father, the Ruler of peace," rather than as a series of "names" or "titles" all applied to the Messiah.

Yes, the expression EL GIBBOR is also applied to Yahweh at Jeremiah 32:18 as well as Isaiah 10:21. Of course, Yahweh, being the Almighty, is most certainly a Mighty One of Power, so this expression is appropriate for Him. This does not mean that the same expression applied to Jesus means that Jesus is Yahweh who sent Jesus. Nor does the same expression used of the Kings of Babylon mean that those kings were Yahweh. The big difference is the case of Jesus is that the position of Mighty One of Power in Isaiah 9:6, if ascribed to Jesus, is given to Jesus by Yahweh, the only true Most High. (Isaiah 9:7; Isaiah 11:1-5; Luke 1:32; John 5:22,23,27) Jesus is never depicted in the Scriptures as the Most High; Jesus is the Son of the Most High. -- -- Genesis 14:22; Psalm 7:17; Psalm 83:18; Psalm 92:1; Luke 1:32; John 13:16.

"and he will be called...............from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will acommplish this."

Persons eager to read into a text a belief developed long after the event of the actual story often forget to read things like context, tense and understand the immediate historical setting and use of terminology.
Here in Isaiah, like in Jeremiah, the flow of authority comes from El Shaddai to someone designated to carry out all his wishes, someone greater than David.

I get so tired of trinitarians. They're just people who want to use the Bible to support their own unbiblical agenda/aka religion. Always learning but never comprehending. 2Tim 3:7
