This article has this statement:

Quote
Protestants should be following their [the Catholic] lead, said Carol Bechtel, professor of Old Testament at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. "It's always left me baffled and perplexed and embarrassed that we sprinkle our hymns with that name," she said. "Whether or not there are Jewish brothers and sisters in earshot, the most obvious reason to avoid using the proper and more personal name of God in the Old Testament is simply respect for God."

How the very opposite of what true worshipers should be endeavoring to do! Its always left me baffled and perplexed and embarrassed that the Bible translators and copyists change the most holy name in the universe to "the Lord." To replace the holy name shows great disrespect for Yahweh and his holy name.

I will return to this later, Yahweh willing.

Christian love,
Ronald

Is 58:13,14 "If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day. If you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way, then you will find your joy in Yahweh....The mouth of the LORD has spoken."
