Examining the Supposed Incommunicable Attributes of God

According to some, there are three who share the incommunicable attritubes of God: God the Father, his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is our intent here organize this according to the way many trinitarians present their material, so that one will be able to follow and compare more easily. Click on the links below to pages discussing each of the alleged incommunicable attributes of God. There are some "attributes" listed that some trinitarians may object to. This list does not come from one source, but is the result of various arguments presented in emails to us, on debate forums, from various trinitarian books, as well as from many different websites, thus, in fairness, not all trinitarians may agree with some of the attributes, qualities, or scriptures as listed below. (Not all attributes or qualities are ready as yet; there is more being added, as Yahweh permits.)

Glory - It is claimed that Jesus shares Yahweh's glory, thus Jesus is Yahweh, since Yahweh does not share his glory with anyone else.

He is called God -- Our trinitarian neighbors say that since the Hebrew and Greek words for "God" are applied to Jesus, and since there is only one God, this means that Jesus must be a person of that one God. But is this really so? One would have to approach the Bible with the idea of more than one person in God in order to come to this conclusion. • Genesis 19:24 - Although this scripture does not have the word God in it, it is listed on at least one site as proof that Jesus is called "God". -- see: Yahweh Rained Fire From Yahweh

The Lord - Since the scriptures say there is only "one Lord", it is claimed by some that to be "Lord" means that Jesus is Yahweh. Additionally, some claim that "the Lord" is applied to Jesus in the New Testament when quotes are made from the OT that refer to Yahweh.
